This page is devoted to my varied musical interests. It's going to be changing a lot. Due to some. I'll try to start posting some sites and mps streams but the normal host (myplay.com) has the crappiest format I've ever seen and doesn't support ftp uploads. Since I'm on a Mac it will inhibit my posting of entire albums. I'll get specifc songs up there. Maybe a song per week or something.

Agter having just returned from a mission.... really my taste in music hasn't changed much. I don't like the new Limp Bizkit stuff. I still enjoy their first CD but.... they suck now. Same with Korn. First two CD's were good. The new ones suck.
I end up doing most of my music listening in my truck. (here's where I go into a car audio tangent). Anyway lemme give you the rundown on the system in my 1989 Toyota 4wd manual v6 standard cab pickup. The head unit is a Denon DCT-950. I would have to argue that this is the best sounding head unit for the money. There are plenty of alpines, sonys, eclipse etc. that are better but they all cost a fortune. The head unit drives 2 4" Pioneer coaxials. (my next step is to buy another amp and put some 5 1/4's in the kick panels. It's better to drive even low quality speakers with an amp. The differences in dynamics and distortion are amazing.) There's a 200 watt rms sony amp driving the MTX 5000 sub behind the seat. The setup is plenty loud for the little pickup cab. Plenty loud to drive 80 on the highway with the windows down and almost drown out the wind noise. The MTX is an amazing sub, Probably the best for the money. JL audio makes better subs with about the same Xmax but they cost twice as much. Anyway I'll eventually have a car audio section, probably when I get around to doing installations again.
